What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a system of Enlightenment and a Hands on Healing art developed in the early 1900's by Mikao Usui in Japan. It is an art that is passed from Master to student. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words - Rei and Ki, meaning Universal Life Force Energy. The term "Reiki" is used to describe both the energy and the Usui system of using it. 

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. 

An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.

Reiki I Class (three evenings)
Class size: limited to 10 students
Winter Class Date: January 21st - 23rd
Spring Class Date: TBA

Part 1: (first night) – this is also offered as an introductory class for $10. 
We discuss in depth what Reiki is, its history, the Reiki Principles and how Reiki works.
Part 2: (second night)
You will receive the Reiki I attunement. You will learn the basic hand positions for healing yourself and others.
Part 3: (third night)
An opportunity to use what you have learned - to both give and receive a full Reiki treatment. Class cost is sliding scale from $75 ~ $125 with certificate. Includes Hand Outs.

You will receive the Reiki II attunement and learn to work with three Sacred Reiki symbols. These symbols enable you to send distance Reiki, do clearing and cleansing, increase your energy work to heal more deeply on the emotional level and so much more. We will discuss the chakra system and how to use Reiki for balancing. We will discuss and journey to meet your Reiki guides. Class cost is sliding scale from $150 ~ $200 with certificate. Includes Manual.

Reiki III Class - Master/Teacher (1 day or two evenings)
Prerequisite: Reiki II, and an in depth experience in using Reiki healing. You will be expected to show full knowledge of Reiki I & II.
Class size: limited to 3 students.
Spring Class Date: TBA

This class is offered for those who have the desire to teach and pass attunements. Includes Master Attunement, advanced healing techniques, emotional clearing techniques, and manual with full descriptions about passing attunements and initiations. Class cost is sliding scale from $350 ~ $400 with certificate.
